Janos Starker, long called the "King of the Cellists," has built one of the great musical careers of the second half of the 20th century. Both as concert artist and as master teacher, Starker is revered internationally, and has spent a lifetime campaigning on behalf of the cello and its repertoire.
Here the great cellist presents a delightful and unusual collection of five concertos - some not otherwise available on CD.
