The music of ALAN HOVHANESS has always been in the forefront of Delos' extensive contemporary catalog, and this special release salutes and honors our long-standing championship of this monumental composer. Influenced deeply by poetry, nature and spirituality, his music combines the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with the lyric mysticism of the Armenian and early Christian church.
